Meeting with NZ FIJI SOCCER INC—Fiji FA approves the affiliation of the Association and will ratify it at the next AGM and withdraw the affiliation of the other NZ Fiji association

 

 

1 NZ Fiji FA will assist Fiji FA with accommodation/meals etc of our National team tours to NZ
2 They will invite 4 teams from Fiji for the Pacific Cup, pay fare, provide accom and meal costs
Will provide shares to FIJI FA from Gate revenues
3 Youth Programs—we have a sponsor for our U13 and u 15—Tech Director will coordinate the youth program in the 3 divisions-- costing about $70K
4 D- License courses to produce more coaches at District/club levels continues and the Tech team will soon move to North
5 PROTESTS
A Suva/ Labasa—Suva’s protest against Labasa for fielding Manasa Levaci Jr who was not cleared by Suva—protest allowed,. He had double registrations—player fined $250 and suspended for 3 months
B Ba/ Labasa-- Nemani Kanacaki - player was registered with Ba’s Race CourseClub ,registered with Savusavu and also registered with Labasa with slightly different names and different date of births—protest allowed, player fined $250 and suspended for 3 months
C Lami’s Protest against Tailevu North allowed , Player Viliame Ratukadrew was not registered. T/North fined $200
D T/Naitasiri’s protest against NAsinu –Navinesh, Tevita Roko, Sesoni Cavu, decision to be made after verification of records
E T/Naitasiri and Lami decision to be made after verification and player identification
F Rewa/ Tavua—Rewa’s protest against Tavua for playing Maika Naasema who played under different name was deferred for player identification. Tavua to produce both players for identification and decision. Failure to present the player will result in suspension of both players and matter reported to Police
6 Pradeep Singh (Aust) a member of our Football Committee will assist Fiji FA in placing youth player s (U11) at Lisbone Accadeny for development. Lisbone academy is supported by Bacelona. He will do a formal presentation during the IDC to Fiji FA and to all the District Association at the AGM in October
7 Rizwan Khan, Acting President of Tavua has been suspended from all level of soccer for violating Fiji FA rules and going direct to the media without going through Fiji FA. -. He is also striped of his acting President position as he is not the Senior VP. MRs Khan is appointed acting President
8 Rizawan to be charged and to appear before the Disciplinary Committee for his derogatory comments about FIJI FA, Tavua’s former President and withholding Players transfers without just reasons.-
9 Josaia Ratu’s transfer was approved by FFA. Tavua had a agreement claiming the player was paid $10,000 on signing the contract—player denied receiving the $10,000 but only $100-fundermental breach
10 NAMBENIA—TO APPEAR BEFORE BOC TO EXPLAIN—IF LIED, he will be suspended.
11 Levuka---Relegated to associate membership. No Clubs, no AGM,
12 Nalawa—played suspended and unregisterd players under different names—also relegated
13 T/North—also having problem with local club, player registration. President Jagdish Narayan facing court action for assaulting a player—T/Norths situation is being investigated
14 Courts IDC==at Ba from 10th October. Annual Congress at 7.30pm on 9th Oct
15 Women IDC—sponsorship identified…. Bargin Box
16 Youth U13 and U 15 Sponsorship identified—Shop and Save
17 Protest Fees increased to $250 this is to ensure that only genuime protests are lodged
18 Tournament Registration—closes 14 days before tournament—late registration fine $100 per day. List to be circulated 7 days before and any objection at least 3 days before kick off, there after no protest unless playing under different name etc
19 New Season from Sept to April
20 Transfer Windows 1stNov to 30th Nov, second window 15 May to 30th May.
21 O’League—June/July
