Fiji Football Association this evening quashed Labasa's three points against Rewa after hearing a complaint filed by the Delta Tigers and deciding against the Northerners.

Rewa after its 2-0 loss to the Babasiga Lions had filed a complaint stating that their former player Posiano Kalisito's clearance fee was not completely paid by Labasa and the cheque given to them had bounced.

In its special meeting, Fiji FA ruled that Labasa FA was at fault and hence deducted its match points and the number of goals scored from the BOG standings.

However, the match points were not awarded to Rewa as it was only a complaint and not a protest.

The decision gives Rewa a lifeline as a win to Ba over Labasa in the next match here at Churchill Park will send the defending champs into the semis as they have three points but superior goal difference.
