Vakatalesau undergoes emergency operation

BA'S deadly striker Osea Vakatelesau had to undergo emergence operation at the Private Hospital in Suva today to fix his injured knee.

Despite undergo the ordeal Osea played a commanding game for the Men in Black's 1-nil win over Delta Tigers.

This was confirmed by Ba president Rishi Kumar, who said Ozzy (Osea) had to undergo operation to remove water which was in this knee.

"We had to take Ozzy to the Private Hospital in Suva to remove the water which was in his knee after he got injured in the win against Nadroga at Labasa's Subrail Park last weekend.

"We told him to rest but he said no and wanted to play. He is forcing himself and we can tell that he is struggle. We will have to see how he does and need be we will rest him in the final match against Labasa tomorrow,"

Kumar added midfielder Roneel Kumar was also nursing niggling injury and that was the reason he was rested against Rewe.

"We are hoping Tiri (Roneel) will be fit to take the flied against Labasa, but that will depend if he recovers. Also Kiniviliame Naika got injured so we are keeping our fingers crossed for the three to recover in time," Ba bnoss said.
