DEFENDING champions of the Inkk Mobile BOG Rewa have bowed out of the 2012 event after being edged by Ba 1-0 in their Pool 1 clash at Churchill Park this evening.

Maviliko Nakama’s goal in the first half was enough to earn the Men in Black their second win and six points as they now prepare to face Labasa in the top of the table clash tomorrow night.

Labasa, with a better goal average leads Pool 1.

Osea Vakatalesau could have added Ba’s second goal but he missed a penalty kick which was well saved by rookie Rewa goalkeeper Imtiaz Khan.

Ba created numerous scoring chances but failed to capitalise as this kept the Delta Tigers in the game.

With Rewa out, the Ba and Labasa match will decide which team leads the pool.
