Substitute striker Samuela Drudru who came in for Ralph Sherwin scored an absolute stunner in the 17th minute of the second half to hand Suva a 2-1 win over Lautoka in a fast-paced game at Govind Park.

The win sees Suva lead pool two with seven points from two wins and a draw. Lautoka trail by a point – with six points from two wins in three games.

Drudru’s goal was too hot for Lautoka stopper Jone Sorlo to handle as it slipped from his grasp to land to find the back of the nett.

Nadi made a brilliant comeback at the Fiji FACT this afternoon as they beat Savusavu 4-0 at Govind Park in Ba.

A very healthy looking Ratu Veresa Toma began the stampede for the Jetsetters, slotting in their first half goals – the first in the 23rd minute before he slammed in the second in the 32nd minute – to give them a 2-0 cushion going into the breather.

Nadi wasted no time in the second half when Ratu Josefa Dugucagi up their score to three in the 5th minute before Simione Vesa slotted in their fourth just minutes from full time.

Dugucagi had a chance to make it five, but failed to connect with Toma’s pass in the Savusavu box.
